Sunday: Frank and Michelle collected us at 10:30am and we headed south pass the Sydney airport towards Marinda where they live. We stopped at a wildlife reserve where we saw Kangaroos and a variety of Australian birds and wildlife. The highlight of the visit was we saw two baby Kuala's and I had my photo taken with them. Then we drove thru the National Park which is huge and south of Cronulla where Helga lives. We continued on to Stanwell Park where we saw a long coal train enroute to the steel town of Wollongong. We took a newly built bridge/road along the cliffside to the Scarborough Hotel where we had lunch on the lawn overlooking a cliff and rocky beach where we saw a lone surfer waiting for the big one. On the way back we came via Newtown that has a very long street with shops and restaurants on both sides and lots of
colourful people walking the streets. It was a great opportunity for Kevin and Frank to talk about old times and get reacquainted. They hope to visit us in Canada one day. We had an early night as we had an early Start the next morning with Trish and Pete. MR&K
