A woman has been threatened by a man with a firearm and a knife during a domestic incident at a hotel in Sydney's historic Rocks area.
The woman managed to flee her room and report the incident to hotel staff, police said.
Police were called late on Tuesday afternoon but the man is thought to have fled the hotel before they arrived.
During the incident the woman was allegedly threatened with a firearm and a knife.
Police are now looking for the 26-year-old man.
Harrington Street and Essex Street were closed for a short time while police searched the hotel
