Christchurch to Queenstown Feb 2

Today we travelled 8 hours by regular commuter bus to Queenstown. It stopped to take passengers on and off at small towns and villages and gave us lots of rest stops with time to have morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea plus stopping for photo takes. The driver gave a running commentary the whole way because the bus is used by so many tourists they are also trained guides. Once again we passed through amazing scenery constantly changing. At this stage of our journey I am at a loss of words to describe the beauty of New Zealand it just keeps getting better every day. We are meeting so many interesting Kiwi's and they all have a story to tell. Weather has been fantastic as our photos show had we come two weeks earlier they had rain and it was cold. More on Queenstown in my next blog. Mary Rose
