We spend two wonderful days with Frank and Michele. They collected us in Manly and took us on a tour of the "Shire" the area where they live south of Sydney. We went to Botany Bay to see where Captain Cook first landed in 1772. From this point we watched flights coming and going from Sydney airport. Then we went to Wanda beach I went in for a paddle a swim was not possible due to the rip tides:( Later we had dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant sitting outside with a gentle breeze blowing. Next morning Michele took me to Miranda shopping mall I could have spend the day there looking at all the different stores. Kevin and Frank went to a driving range. That afternoon they had a wonderful bar b que all their family were there it was the the first we met them also some friends from Galway were there whom I grew up with. We had a good old sing song and exchanged many memories. Maude a message for you from Martin Keane you knew his Mom well he said to say special hello to you and Patricia. Ellie message to you from Freddie he missed you there and sends his love. Mary Rose
